①Nominal capacity
It refers to the capacity calculated according to the geometric dimensions of the storage tank and expressed as an integer after rounding. In general, the nominal capacity is smaller than the calculated capacity.
② Computing capacity
It refers to the capacity calculated according to the geometric dimensions of the storage tank. The calculated capacity is πR2H (R is the inner radius of the storage tank; H is the height of the tank wall).
③Storage capacity
It refers to the maximum capacity that the storage tank can actually store. The calculated capacity minus the unusable capacity of the upper part of the storage tank is the storage capacity. The storage capacity is πR2H1 (R is the inner radius of the storage tank; H1 is the highest liquid level height).
④Effective capacity
Also called working capacity, it refers to the capacity between the maximum allowable working liquid level and the allowed minimum working liquid level in the storage tank. It is an important parameter in determining the nominal capacity of the storage tank. The effective capacity is πR2(H1-H2) (R is the inner radius of the storage tank, H1 is the allowable maximum working liquid level height, and H2 is the allowable minimum working liquid level height).
